Organic Herbal Tea Blend, Lemon Verbena & Dittany of Crete 10g

When the queen of the herb garden, lemon verbena, meets Crete's own dittany, you get Queen's Love. The citrus scent of the verbena leaves plays against the warm, oregano-like depth of dittany. The result is a distinctive infusion, bright at first and spicy underneath.

Tofillo blends whole verbena leaves with dittany leaves and flowers, dried in natural conditions. The blend is packed in a resealable food-grade pouch inside a carton with a small window, so the aroma stays in and the light stays out.

Caffeine-free, and as good over ice as it is hot. A good choice for anyone who likes citrus notes in their cup.

Preparation

Put about 1 g of the blend (roughly one tablespoon) in a cup or pot with a lid.
Pour over 200 ml of water at about 90 °C, just off the boil.
Cover and steep for 3–5 minutes. Longer steeping gives a stronger infusion.
Strain and enjoy, with a little honey if you like.

Iced: the same method with double the amount, poured over a glass of ice.
