Dittany grows only on Crete, on steep gorge walls and cliffs, and has been one of the island's most treasured herbs for thousands of years. Tofillo steam-distils the oil from the leaves, stems and flowers. It has a warm, spicy-herbal aroma with a sweet depth, which comes from carvacrol, its main aromatic compound.

One of the rarest herbal oils in Greece - a few drops are enough.

How to use

  • In an aroma diffuser: 2–3 drops
  • In food: dilute 1 drop in 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Do not use undiluted
