Cretan thyme covers the island's rocky slopes and is famous for the aromatic honey that bees make from it. Tofillo steam-distils the oil from the leaves, stems and flowers of Coridothymus capitatus. The aroma is warm, powerful and spicy-herbal — a Cretan summer hillside in concentrated form.
How to use
- In an aroma diffuser: 2–3 drops
- In food: dilute 1 drop in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, for example for roast vegetables, pulses, bread or meat dishes
- Do not use undiluted
