Thyme is an amazing herb, with all its health benefits: Thyme is used by the pharmaceutical industry on numerous occasions, mainly because of its concentrations of thymol and carvacrol, and its antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Also, it has a lot of vitamin K, manganese, calcium, and iron.
Our Organic Thyme comes from the White Mountains of western Crete. With respect to its value and responsibility towards Greek tradition and the environment, Organic Dried Thyme is organically grown and carefully handpicked. It is naturally dried. This excellent kind of herb, growing in the Mediterranean region, will boost your meals and give a Greek touch with its flavour!

Instructions For Use:
- It’s ready to use. Dust over finished plates.In Greek cuisine, it is used with almost every meal. Dried Thyme gives dishes a flavour that’s not easy to achieve with any other herb and it goes well with almost everything.

When overcooked it may lose its flavour.
- Add it just a few minutes before your meal is ready, or right after you close the heat. Add it in your stew, soup, or pasta sauce.
- Try adding some dried leaves to your salad with our Pamako Organic Olive Oil.
- When you are baking your bread, try to put some dried thyme leaves in the flower.

Delivery conditions

- Self-collection: Free of charge. You will receive an email when your order is ready.
- Failed delivery: If delivery fails for reasons within your responsibility (e.g. wrong address, parcel not collected), we may charge the outbound and return shipping costs.
Damaged or lost parcels
We ship with DHL and DPD. Until the parcel is handed over to you, the transport risk is ours. If your parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, please contact us at hello@thebiofoods.com. We will clarify the case with the carrier and send you a replacement or refund your payment.
