High-phenolic Olive Oil. Why is it good for you?
Not all olive oils are created equal. While ordinary olive oils are primarily known for their flavor, high-phenolic olive oil – also called polyphenol-rich olive oil – contains a particularly high concentration of bioactive plant compounds such as oleocanthal and oleacein, known for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, the so-called polyphenols.
